  • Sampling of Cargo at Stockpile for Coal and Minerals.
  • Sampling at warehouse or godowns for agri commodities.
  • Joint sampling of Cargo to decide and agree upon cargo specification.
  • Details Reporting with pictures.
  • Methods followed ASTM / ISO.

JETTY / PORT

  • Check and Tally of weight. Initial, Intermediate and Final Draught Survey.
  • Sampling during loading of Barges at Jetty.
  • Checking the Barge condition and Barge calibration ensuring the condition of Barge suitable for loading cargoes
  • Draught Survey to ascertain quantity.
  • Monitor homogeneous Blending if required.
  • Monitoring Cargo condition during loading.
  • Witnessing loading activity at jetty and report or alert incase of any abnormalities that may deteriorate quality so necessary precautions taken immediately. A proactive approach to help and to maintain quality.
  • International standards ASTM / ISO followed.

CONTAINERS

  • Container inspection to qualify for stuffing.
  • Containers Stuffing and stripping supervision.
  • Check and Tally of weight. Initial, Intermediate and Final Draught Survey.
  • Full monitoring and Tallying of containers from port to warehouse.
  • Sampling during stuffing and stripping of container.
  • Risk management, physical Tally of package and sealing of containers.
  • Checking temperature and condition of frozen cargo before and after Stuffing.
  • Report contamination and Pictures of entire activity.
  • Fumigation of agricultural products stored in containers.
  • Investigation on cargo contamination.

ANCHORAGE

  • Initial and Final Draught Survey.
  • Draught and Redraught of Barges at mother vessel before and after discharging cargo to identify if any cargo loss and quantity of cargo actually discharged at ship.
  • Sampling of Cargo as per International Standard.
  • Technical support on board vessel in cases of disputes related to cargo condition particularly on cargo combustion and temperature related matters.
  • Supervision and monitoring as required.
  • Witnessing loading activity and reporting cargo condition and weather reports or any valuable feedback related to Cargo or loading activity on board.
  • Joint Sampling and Sample sealing as per principals request.
  • Checking of Ship hatch condition before commence loading.

WITNESS PREPARATION AND ANALYSIS AT ASSOCIATES LABORATORY

  • Witness sample preparation as per standards and keep the documents and report.
  • Pictures of Sample preparation followed at the laboratory or at preparation facility of associate lab or independent laboratory as per our principal requirement.
  • Witnessing and sealing of Composite Umpire, Buyer and Shipper Samples both PSI and Shipment samples.
  • Maintaining records of all Sample seals numbers for future reference.
  • Issuance of Analysis reports of Cargo as per International Standards.

ANALYSIS PARAMETERS

  • Coal and Coke and Minerals testing follows ASTM/ ISO standard and our associate laboratory are competent and accredited as per International standard as per ISO / IEC 17025 :2017.
  • Proximate, Gross Calorific Value, Total Sulphur, Ultimate Analysis, Ash Analysis, Ash Fusion Temperature, HGI, Sizing, CSN, etc are commonly reported parameters in Coal and Coke.
  • Minerals ores depending on there requirements of Moisture, and Elements.
  • Edible oil laboratories of our associates are well equipped and accredited as per FOSFA, GAFTA.
  • For Edible oils common parameters of analysis includes Acidity,PeroxideValue( PV), Moisture and Impurities (M&I) ,Deterioration of Bleachibility Index (DOBI), Colour, Free Fatty Acid (FFA), Anisidine Value (AV), Carotene content, Discriminant Function (DF), Phosphorus (P), Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Oxidative Stability Index (OSI).
